Hey West Branch!
Mark your calendars, because Hoover’s Hometown Days is back! It’s the biggest weekend of the year, filled with history, fun, and community pride. But to pull off an event this massive and memorable, we need you!
Volunteer positions are available from July (for Hoover Ball clinics) through Monday, August 10th (for final clean up).
Main Street West Branch is officially looking for volunteers to join the crew and help make this year’s celebration the best one yet. Whether you have two hours to spare or want to help out all weekend, there is a perfect spot for you.
🎓 Attention High School Students: Earn Your Cords!
Looking to get a head start on your volunteer hours for the school year? Every single activity at Hoover’s Hometown Days is eligible for both COLORFUL CORD and SILVER CORD hours. Grab some friends, give back to your town, and check those graduation requirements off your list!

Monday Clean Up: A final push to reset Town Hall and do a final sweep of the area.
👥 Guest Services & Fun

Youth Hoover-Ball Refs: Love the game? We need refs who can commit to both the August 7th tournament and the clinics.
HPF Luncheon: Be a greeter, clear tables, and help with teardown. (Bonus: Lunch is provided!)
🚦 Safety & Logistics
Crossing Guards: Keep our crowds safe at the busy Main St. and 1st Street intersection.
Mark Vendor Spaces: Help us measure and mark downtown vendor spots using a master map before the event kicks off.
Vendor Load-In: Welcome our vendors and help them get settled into their spots.
Trash Troop: Keep West Branch beautiful by emptying cans and keeping tables clean.
